San Michele and Sassi Neri Beaches

Located at the foot of the village of Sirolo, these two spectacular adjoining bays are among the most stunning on the Conero Riviera. San Michele beach offers a long stretch of fine gravel and pure white pebbles, lapped by blue waters that drop off quite rapidly towards the open sea. Continuing on foot towards the north along the same strip of coast, you encounter the adjacent Sassi Neri beach. Both bays can be reached by tackling the evocative wooded paths that descend from the mountain on foot, or by using the convenient shuttle bus services that cover the route throughout the summer season.
