Heading south, the coastal landscape of the Conero Riviera changes its appearance, opening into wider and more easily accessible shorelines. The Numana Alta area home to sheltered and evocative inlets such as La Spiaggiola and Spiaggia dei Frati. Continuing towards Numana Bassa and the hamlet of Marcelli, the coast stretches into a long, deep strip of fine shingle and small golden pebbles. Access to the water is easy, and the presence of a continuous pedestrian promenade allows for easy movement on foot or with strollers.
